The SCRAM CAM Continuous Alcohol Monitoring® device or SCRAM CAM® provides 24/7 alcohol consumption monitoring through an ankle bracelet. Using transdermal detection, the SCRAM CAM “sniffs” the presence of consumed alcohol and provides secure updates every 30 mins.
01
SCRAM offers 24/7 tracking, reporting on the presence of alcohol in the subject’s perspiration every 30 mins.
02
The SCRAM bracelet is securely attached to the ankle. Once on, only a professional can remove the device without disrupting evidence.
03
Once attached, the SCRAM CAM doesn’t require additional visits for alcohol measurement or data retrieval.
04
As alcohol is metabolised quickly, some subjects can drink around certain breath and EtG tests. SCRAM provides the complete picture with no margin for error.
SCRAM is the definitive choice for situations requiring continuous and secure monitoring of an individual's alcohol consumption. It is particularly effective for enforcing abstinence in legal settings, such family law matters or even in drunk driving cases.
In a similar way to the breathalyser, the SCRAM Continuous Alcohol Monitoring (SCRAM CAM) bracelet offers donors 24/7 transdermal alcohol testing and can be worn for 30, 60, or 90 days or more. Eliminating testing gaps and promoting accountability, the SCRAM bracelet takes a 30-minute sweat sample automatically from the wearer.
Anti-tampering technology is in place to detect if the device is removed or any attempts to obstruct the device so ensure valid evidence is collected. Twice a day, the bracelet transmits readings for reporting via a wireless Base Station connection. Even if the donor strays from home, the bracelet will continue to collect data and send measurements when the participant returns inside the Base Station's coverage area. The Base Station then automatically transmits the information to AttoLife for analysis purposes.
Step 1
The SCRAM bracelet is securely fitted around an individual’s ankle by an AttoLife trained professional. A receiver is also placed in the home to collect data from the device.
Step 2
SCRAM utilises advanced transdermal alcohol testing technology (or “sniffing”) to measure alcohol through the skin in the form of perspiration. This allows for the detection of alcohol consumption in real-time.
Step 3
The device continuously collects alcohol readings and transmits the data to a receiver in the home. From here the data is sent to AttoLife via SCRAM, enabling real-time alerts and comprehensive reporting, providing a reliable account of the wearer's alcohol consumption over time.
Step 4
SCRAM is highly regarded for its ability to provide continuous, reliable monitoring of alcohol consumption. Its use is widespread in legal settings for compliance monitoring and is also utilised in treatment programs to ensure adherence to sobriety goals.
